2015/16 Season
I'm proud to announce the return of On The Edge Tuning for it's 4th season! This year is full of fun and exciting changes for the shop, but before we get to those I'd like to say a quick word of thanks to the many people who have made it possible to get this far. My friends and family have stood by this dream and without them it probably would have never left my garage. I'd also like to thank the wonderful people at Cranknstein. The past 3 seasons, getting to work alongside the staff and owners was an honor and pleasure that I hadn't anticipated and I can't thank them enough for the years of encouragement and friendship that they provided. I'm also going to thoroughly miss the hot chocolate... And of course, my awesome God for giving me such a great community to be a part of.
Normally, the summers are a nice break from the rush of the ski season. Not this time. We've been searching for a new shop location since last year and finally found the perfect spot. For the first time, On The Edge Tuning will have it's very own space inside the old Coloradoan building on Riverside Ave. One of the biggest things I'm looking forward to is that there's parking! No more parking 2 blocks away and having to carry your skis through Old Town. While I'll really miss being in the middle of downtown Fort Collins, I think this will be a great space for the shop to grow. Also, we had the opportunity to tune skis this summer for a couple of Colorado's local manufacturers. This gave us the opportunity to upgrade our tuning equipment for all the skis from the summer, but it also means an upgrade in our customer tuning as well. Stone grinding can add a very cool new dimension of customizing skis to their riders and we're excited to incorporate this into the upcoming season. We've also expanded our product and demo lines for this year based on the huge amount of feedback we received last season.
That brings us back to why I do this. No matter what, the focus of On The Edge Tuning is to bring you, our customers, closer to that perfect day on the slopes. Thank you, again, for the opportunity to serve our community for another year. There's a very good reason why we live in Colorado, so come in and see us soon, and let's make sure no day in the mountains is ever wasted!
Let it snow!
