Welcome to On The Edge's 12th season! What a crazy ride it's been so far, and it just keeps getting better and better. It's been an awesome second summer of water sports. Not only have we gotten to make new friends skiing and paddling, but we've also been able to share our passion for the water with a whole other part of our community.
It's also been a crazy summer for another big reason. In March, we welcomed our daughter, Winnie, into the world. While these past 6 months have absolutely flown by, it's been the most incredible experience that I know many of our customers can relate to. And before you ask, yes, she's already tried on her first ski boots.
Having a daughter has been teaching me to stop and appreciate all of the little moments we take for granted. She probably won't remember when she caught her first snowflake this spring or the first time she dipped her toes in the lake this summer, but I'll certainly never forget it. Seeing her reaction to such simple moments makes me want to appreciate the world around us even more. It also makes me wonder what kind of a world she'll live in when she grows up. It's important to remember how precious God's creation is, and that we are merely stewards of it.
That's why the industry we work with is so inspiring. We rely solely on the environment to be able to do what we love, so it's natural that we should be working to protect it. Everything from bags and gear made from recycled ocean plastics, to skis and boards either completely recyclable or made from recycled materials. How materials are sourced and manufactured, and how we pack and transport equipment is being reevaluated and improved to reduce our impact and safeguard our involvement for generations to come. It's a pleasure to continue to push and be involved with such awesome companies.
Thank you for letting us continue to serve our amazing community. We hope this season brings more joy and fun experiences than ever, and that you get to appreciate all the precious little moments along the way.
Odie can't wait to greet you at the door, so stop in and see us soon!
Let it Snow!
